Top Ten Tips - Easy Ways To Save

money2As our economy enters uncertain times, everyone’s feeling the pinch. It’s now more important to save money than ever. But where do you start? Here are some simple, everyday cutbacks that will put some extra money in your pocket:

  • Brown-Bag Your Lunch - Stop eating out or ordering in every day and brown bag your lunch. You’ll save a bundle by making your own meals.
  • Do Not Renew Magazine Subscriptions, Buy Books Or Rent Movies - Go get a library card instead, and take out books, magazines, DVDs and more from your local library.
  • Shop At Discount And Thrift Stores - Save money by shopping at discount and thrift stores for clothing and other home goods. Get past the stigma - you can find some great things for low prices at these stores.
  • Cut Down Or Eliminate Your Vices - If you smoke or drink, think of how much you spend. And then think of how much you can save by cutting out one pack of cigarettes, one pack of beer or a day’s worth of lottery tickets.
  • Use Coupons - Search online or browse through your Sunday paper for food, clothing and variety store coupons. You’ll be amazed at how much you can save.
  • Put All Of Your Change Into A Jar - Fish around your pockets, drawers, pocketbooks, wallets, couch cushions and other places where they may be coins, then bring the jar to a coin-counting machine, such as the Penny Arcade at Commerce Bank. Last time Tip Diva did this, she netted $78.
  • Hold A Garage Sale - Get a box and go through your house, getting rid of things you no longer need and are willing to sell. Hold a garage sale and get rid of everything.
  • Cut Back On Utilities - Remember to turn off lights and electrical appliances. Use fans instead of air conditioners. Light a fire instead of turning up the heat.
  • Call Service Providers And See Where You Can Save - Call your cell phone, Internet and cable providers and see where you can cut back your service. Instead of getting premium cable, switch to basic cable. Instead of paying for both a cell phone and house phone, just use a cell phone. And if you have broadband, don’t pay extra for services like AOL.
  • Walk, Bike Or Use Public Transportation More - Gas prices keep rising, and the best way to save on fuel is by walking, biking or using public transportation.

    cheap auction site Says:

Someone from http://www.sharepal.com told me to go look here for the blurays that they don’t have in store, but it seems this isn’t the right website…would you happen to know if they perhaps meant some site that has a similar name to this one? Any advice would be appreciated!
